My Story
Hello there!
My name is Simone OConnor and I am an Independent Scentsy Consultant. I live in beautiful Central Otago with my husband and currently also with our daughter and her partner.
I joined Scentsy in September 2021 , initially only wanting to buy products for myself and for a bit of pocket money. I had been a Scentsy fan for a number of years, started buying off a consultant in the Wairarapa, but then we moved south.
Not knowing many people ‘down’ here I came across a Scentsy Consultant by accident and my passion for the products started to reach a new high. Still, I didn’t think I was ready to start getting more seriously involved, letting alone selling it myself. I was a master in finding excuses. Always easy to find excuses until you bite the bullet and give it a go. So I did and here I am, 2 years later. Scentsy has not only given me an extra income, but also given me a new focus as well as confidence. I am facing many challenges which help me grow personally and in numerous other different ways. I’ve met many lovely people and made new friends. Originally from Germany with no close family in New Zealand, Scentsy has also given me a feeling of belonging.
I have got a full time job as a Senior Health Care Assistant and Assessor and work Scentsy as a sideline which at the moment suits my life style. I have the extra income via Scentsy which enables me to make extra expenses affordable, go on that special trip or spoil myself and my family. What’s there not to love?
